MESSING IT UP FOR THE REAL TGIRLS

I think that most crossdressers / transvestites mess things up for us who are really transgender, because most just put on women's clothes and prance around, having sex with anyone, claiming to be woman, messing it up for real transgenders. I guess I am kind of upset about it because I really don't see how a person who only puts on women's clothes is classified as being transgender when they are not transgendering into anything, just putting on women's or men's clothes for the sake of putting on. True, every real transgender person starts out that way, but still I don't think a crossdresser or transvestite is transgender, because if that were the case, then if a guy puts on a kilt, does that make his gender different? This is the reason why so many real TS's cant find love, because people can't sort out this question. Anyway, just saying what I think. Thanks.

Comments: I just want to thank you all for creating a wonderful and positive resource for TG/TS people. Now single again, I've been seeking companionship from many of the larger national personals sites, but I find that I am either completely ignored or constantly fending off nasty guys who regard me as a fetish. But in less than 24 hours, I've already met two nice guys through TS Match Transsexual Dating.

As well, I thought your sister site, TSGirlfiend.com, was an incredibly postive resource like no other and a complete breath of fresh air. For all the great work you've done, I say thank you.

I am one of the senior officers of the Transgender Resource Center in the virtual online world, Second Life, and would like very much to promote both sites to our members as positive places to visit. Just recently the topic of successful Tgirl dating came up, which left most people scratching their heads in futility. Hopefully, these sites can be of great benefit to many, many more Tgirls.

Thank you for posting your email address, and thank you for taking the time to write on this subject! I have long found transsexualism fascinating, and perplexing. Unfortunately, I learned about transsexualism from pornography -- which did not do much to cure me of my ignorance, or satisfy my curiousity. I wondered at what would cause such a situation; that a person born with a male body would want to be a woman. Pornography was a medium that had transsexualism getting me very sexually aroused, but just as I am sure pornography is more than likely harmful to my thoughts about women (the way it is produced and distributed in our culture), I know that it has also harmfully skewed my perception of transsexualism. One question I have is a bit of confirmation, is it true that most "shemales" in pornography are simply gay men acting like transsexuals?

I am glad that there is a website like yours that helps to educate someone like me about what transsexualism is really about, and also provides help and support to those who have to deal with struggles involving being transgendered (I hope those are the same thing). I have never met anyone I would consider a genuine transsexual, although I can confidently say that if I were seeking a relationship, I would find no reason not to give the same amount of consideration to any woman that I met, no matter what struggles she is facing. I hope to explore the psychology of transsexualism more than I have at the moment, but so far yours has been the most helpful resource I have discovered anywhere (online, in real life, medical doctor, etc.)

On a separate note, I would also like some feedback on some of my thoughts. I consider feminine features beautiful, alluring, and arousing, although I am not troubled about the thought of a woman with feminine features having a penis. It occurs to me that I may even find the thought of a woman having a penis very arousing, although I do not want to come across as bisexual because I have not found masculine features (in the face and chest, to name to areas) to be very sexually arousing. However, how selfish is it for me to be turned on if my lover was a transsexual, as she may not enjoy having a penis?

My second question involves anal penetration, but on my own person as opposed to my lover. I have been exposed to "pegging," where a female wears a strap-on and penetrates her male lover. Hoping to not be close minded to sexual experiences that are not unhealthy, I tried this and found it to be INCREDIBLY enjoyable. How offensive would it be if my lover were a transsexual and I desired to be penetrated anally? This, of course, keeping in my that my current girlfriend is a GG, and if we ever get married, I am sure I will have an interesting time asking her how she feels about it, nevermind if my wife were transsexual!
