I recently met a TS online and I find her very interesting. She gave me your How to Date a Pre-Op Transsexual Woman article to read before we go out on our first date. I found it very informative. I also found it full of common sense. Of course, I've realized that men and common sense are a conflict in terms sometimes. But your article gave me some information that I feel I should have that I didn't before. Thank you!

Michael,

My email is on that list of TS's seeking long-term relationships. Way too many guys go there and send a random, impersonal email to everyone on the list, not knowing anything about us. Then, when you reply, and they think you're not the right race, size, shape, look, they never email you back or tell you, "Oh sorry, you are not my type." As smart as the people in that group seem to be, it would be a good idea to put a disclaimer saying to please be a bit more personal towards the girls, and to ask anyone they approach for pictures or something. It just gets annoying getting random emails, and then finding out that they don't like you for whatever reason. You can do something to encourage them to approach and simply ask...can they see pictures, and to understand that there is a variety of women at that site. Honestly, without any offense, there is no one that seems to want anything that is not European or Oriental looking and petite.

Thank you very much and here is the email address to please remove from that list. I wil reply to those who take the tiem to actually go and search for my pictures in the group.

I am very interested in meeting and finding a transsexual girlfriend. I would like to meet someone but do not know how to search. I don't want to join one of those dating "porn" sites, this is not my intent. Nor do I want a one-night stand with an escort. I live in Mobile, Alabama, and am close to Biloxi, Mississippi, as well as Pensacola, Florida. I am not much into the bar scene, either. Could you recommend a site to join or maybe list local places where I could meet someone locally?

I have been trying to find a TS woman for a while now. I don't have the perception that many people have. I treat everyone with respest 'til they don't deserve it. This seems to be my problem with genetic women, they want the "bad boy." I refuse to treat people badly to get someone to stay. I am looking for a TS woman because I think she would appreciate the respect and the way I would treat her. Not as a sex toy or for curiosity, but for something special and serious. The other men make it hard for the men that are really genuine in their search. Can you help me find find someone that is interested in a heart-to-heart connection where I don't have to get the "anti-men" syndrome?

Dear TSGirlfriend,

Could you please tell me why there are seldom any references, let alone full-blown articles, on the rare phenomenon that is the TS lesbian? We are just like any other lesbian but if you are unfortunate to be still pre-op (grrrh), dating is nigh-on impossible -- the isolation one experiences can be more intense than the actual process of transition. If one does a quick search for any postings, literature, etc., for TS lesbians on the web, there is nothing whatsoever of any use. It is shameful that this is still the case. When is somebody going to finally do something about this?

Hello all,

I don't get it. What do transsexual women want? They claim to be interested in men (aside from those who are attracted to other girls, naturally), and yet most of them, in my experience, dismiss outright most of their prospective partners by labelling them "tranny chasers." Why can't they realize that not all men interested in ts women are

1. into "shemales" (wow, I despise that term) and view them as freaks,
2. are latent homosexuals (nothing wrong with that, it's just not us), or
3. are vicarious transsexuals themselves?

For whatever reason, I am attracted to transsexual women. Not men, not "genetic" women. I don't know why, but I accept it. Granted, it's much harder to find a relationship, but I know that my attraction to these girls is not innately wrong. There certainly are other men like me; I'd guess that a significant percentage of men attracted to Tgirls are like me -- they're simply wired that way.

Get over your hang-ups, girls, and please accept that not all men who are interested in you are tranny chasers with unhealthy agendas. Bloody hell! I've no interest in fetishising Tgirls, I simply want a real, emotionally healthy and balanced relationship with one. I've almost given up on that possibility, though, because so many Tgirls -- who themselves hate being stereotyped and misjudged -- automatically place me into one of the above categories. Sheesh!

My name is Cheryl. I had my SRS in Chicago by Dr. Jayaram on April 14, 1975, at the tender age of 22. I've modeled with Elite, danced in Vegas and Canada. I married at 32 and lived in Alexandria, Va. He worked with Congressman Wynn from Maryland on Capitol Hill for a while until opening up his own political action business. I'm 50 years old, but have taken good care of myself. I'm 5'8", red hair, size 14, and was divorced in 2002 due to a lot of reasons, not because of my gender.

He fully accepted my SRS from the beginning. I currently am living with my parents in Charlotte, N.C. Spend most of my time babysitting my two-year-old nephew and am pretty lonely. I stumbled upon your website quite by accident. The trouble is, I don't no how to download pictures and send you one. I'm not "tech savvy." Maybe I can get my neighbor to help me, or if you could send me some quick instructions, I'd be glad to send you a recent picture.
