Hi! I am a 55-year-old pre-op transsexual woman. I have been separated from my former wife for three years now. We're still not legally divorced due to her need for health insurance and my agreeing to add her to my policy.

I live alone. During this time I have not dated or been sexual with another person. Two years ago, I visited a gay nightspot here in our city. I was approached by a tranny chaser wanting to have sex. I allowed things to progress to a certain level, but felt I couldn't proceed due to respect for my daughter's mom. What I really long for is a relationship, not a one-night stand. I have considered going but to the nightspot (out of loneliness as much as anything else) but know that all the guys want there is to get me in bed.

I ran across your website while searching dating and transgender. I'm not sure really how to proceed to finding a man who would accept a transsexual woman and be willing to go out to dinner and a movie and not expect sex in return. But, I know this is what many genetic woman my age are asking also.

Hello,

I'd like to know if you can give me some advice for my dilemma. I am a woman trapped in a male's body, I knew this from birth. The dilemma is I feel like a "senturain," I think that's how you spell it, half and half. I came across an ancient Mayan relic years ago that was a half man and half woman and I immediately identified it as myself. I feel only like a woman from the waist down. I have no desire to have breasts or adorn makeup the way transsexuals usually do. Dating is a horror for me. I don't feel "connected" to gayness, and most men desire girls who "live" the lifestyle, passable. Therefore I am caught between a rock and a hard place. I know I'd feel complete if I had an operation just on my lower half and not the top but I seriously doubt such an operation exists nor will it be permitted. Any advice on how to ease the pain and suffereing I've endured since I was born?

I would like to thank you very much for what you wrote. To be honest, this is the first article that attracted me, and the only one that I finished reading. I am an Arab who would love to date a TS, but unfortunately in our country with our culture you won't find the right TS. It's really bad, but even when you find a TS, all what you get is a man in a man's body, and they are doing it just for money, which is really pathetic. I would love to meet the right TS with the sensibility of GG's. Anyway I would like tell thank you again, and tell you are the man who totally changed my way of thinking. Hopefully I can find one. Keep it up. Have a GREAT life.

I really like the TSGirlfriend site, just for a change, it's human and respectful. I don't especially like the word "shemale" being used so much however. I find it offensive in the extreme and am surprised that, given your emphasis on letting men know we are in fact WOMEN, that it is used at all.

I have applied to join the MSN group nonetheless, but am way too shy to try the live chat. Not just that, I tend to get left behind in the conversations and find the whole experience confusing. But I may give it a go, perhaps. I shall let you know, that I may enter and drop out of the room immediately if there are too many in there. Isn't there any other way you can allow women to find men (and vice-versa of course) without the chat? And how do you keep so-called "admirers" away if they don't actually troll?

Probably overstepping a little given that this is all new to me, but I have to speak my mind.

I do like the articles on the site, very, very true. You have certainly hit the nail on the proverbial head there. All in all, I really like the site, but with those reservations mentioned above. Just giving credit where it is due, I do that from time to time. :-)

I am 49 and I wish to date a TS. I have seen some that are so very pretty. In my teens, I had a couple of intimate days with a couple of friends (not a three-way), so I'm confused about myself. All my female relationships have failed. So maybe I'm thinking since I've always liked TS's, a long-term relationship with one is what I need. I don't know, but I'm writing this in tears and hope there is life and love out there for me. Thank you.
