Hello Samantha,
It was quite a surprise to receive your email. Thank you for reading the
article. I'm pretty sure I know which one (of the several posted at this
site) that you read.
I don't believe the Jerry Springer Show has demonstrated an understanding
as to what actual transsexualism is. Anyone who has studied our tsgirlfriend.com
website knows that transsexualism not a lifestyle and it's not
a fetish. Transsexuals are people suffering from Gender Identity Disorder,
a medical condition. In the case of the TS women who are part
of our site, they were born with female brains inside male bodies.
It's a matter of discovering the condition and then correcting it by changing
the body to match the brain. The discovery process might occur early on,
or it can take decades. The anguish involved is indescribable. Friends
and family lost, loneliness, employment loss or discrimination, sometimes
suicide.... This is not a happy and carefree process. At TSGirlfriend,
we do our part to encourage and facilitate the development of actual romantic
relationships between transsexual women and men. This is a public service
and it's free.
Now, the Jerry Springer Show encourages conflict, sensationalism and it
fully exploits transsexualism to, basically, make fools of its guests.
It is your successful and well-known formula for getting the ratings and
the ad dollars. You people have an awful reputation in the TS
community. You have hurt untold numbers of transsexuals, in a way similar
to the porn industry. Both the Jerry Springer Show and the porn
business exploit and sensationalize TS women to a vast audience, which
results in a misunderstanding of the subject in the minds of the general
public. You create wrong impressions. You exacerbate the problems TS women
already have in making the transition and existing as ordinary women.
You damage people.
I know there is zero chance Mr. Springer and his staff will change their
tune to provide factual information and try to educate anyone. Your target
audience is probably beyond any possibility of being educated, anyway.
Would I help you with your project? Are you serious? Your show
is slime and I would have nothing whatsoever to do with any of
you.
